Day 25: Bird of Paradise Tutorial

Props: resistance band or rolled towel
Let’s take your practice to new heights! Now, it’s time for total body integration towards the peak pose, Bird of Paradise (Svarga Dvijasana). The sequence will begin with a warm-up flow with sequenced postures to prep you for the peak pose. You’ll primarily be working on hip and shoulder external rotation as well as, quadricep and hamstring flexibility! I will also show you how to use a resistance band to help you with the bind that is needed to do this challenging balancing posture. Meet you on the mat!
